To begin this camp we gathered all the kids that had signed up and passed out t-shirts, this was a great way to get these kids excited about the camp and excited to learn. This camp was a one-day camp that lasted for about an hour and a half. During the 90 minutes we had with the kids we ran them through a series of stretches to get them warmed up. After the stretch we split all the kids up into about 6 groups and ran them through a circuit of different position specific drills. I spent most of my time at the wide receiver station because that is what I play right now. Other stations included running backs, quarterbacks, offensive and defensive linemen and linebackers. For my station I instructed the kids on the certain routes that they were going to be running and then showed them a few examples. After i showed the routes I let them run them on their own and practice while I threw a ball to them. This is what I was in charge of for most of the camp. After all the groups had finished their at their stations we had some competitions for prizes and then we ended the camp off with an epic dance battle!
